I owe 100% of my success to the struggle. Stop and think about everything you have. How did you achieve it? Was it easy? In my case nothing I have came instant or without suffering in some manners. Many of my nightmares I truly lived. Were the experiences fun? HELL to the NO. However, they built everything I am standing on today. The GREAT debate-NOT

The 2024 presidential election has presented us with perhaps the most disheartening choice in modern American politics: Kamala Harris versus Donald Trump. On one side, we have a candidate often portrayed as a puppet, reminiscent of “The Manchurian Candidate,” with scripted responses, a questionable grasp of leadership, and an allegiance to establishment politics that often seems more performative than purposeful. On the other, Donald Trump—a real-life Archie Bunker figure, whose crude rhetoric, divisive policies, and disregard for decorum and truth have turned the political arena into a reality show more concerned with ratings than results. Did it matter? No, because the game was rigged from the start. The left stays left, the right stays right, and America stays stuck. The line between politics and entertainment has blurred to the point of being indistinguishable. Candidates are no longer elected on merit or vision but on who can rally their base into a frenzy, often through fear, misinformation, or nostalgia for a past that never really existed. Imagine this!!!!

Last week, I posted a picture that unfortunately contained misinformation. My intention was to present a challenging question, not to take a side on the issue. This sparked a heated discussion among people on both sides. Long story short, I was wrong for posting it, and when someone asked me to take it down, I did so immediately and offered an apology. I apologized for two main reasons. First, I recognized that posting misleading information was not appropriate, and my intention was never to offend anyone. Second, I needed to take responsibility for my actions and move forward. Admitting my mistake and apologizing is a sign of humanity and humility. It shows that we are capable of growth through acknowledging our errors. Imagine this… Donald Trump emerging in Minneapolis, Minnesota shortly after George Floyd was killed, addressing the nation, and saying something like this: “Americans, our system has failed us once again.” He then lists the names of several Black men and other individuals of different races who were killed by the police under seemingly unjust circumstances. Monkey see, monkey do!

When I was a kid the adults would use the phrase “monkey see monkey do”. On the surface I understood what they meant in saying this. I did not comprehend the importance of what I was seeing, listening to, and following. The phrase was often used when I followed a bad behavior or tried to do something that an adult did. I grew up around people who smoked. When I was a kid they used to sell gum that looked like cigarettes. I loved that gum because I could buy it, blow a cloud of smoke and get some candy out of it too. Thinking back, it was a brilliant marketing scheme for cigarette companies: make it cool to smoke. A product that kids can buy that makes them cool. When they become adults, they will be smoking or want to smoke. Monkey see monkey do. Reflecting on my life, I notice how the phrase monkey see monkey do has impacted me during various stages in multiple ways.
